Turning 30 Like a Boss With No Regrets

Oh...my twenties.  They were just a hot mess.  I didn't know who I was and I spent nearly a decade trying to figure that out. I  tried and failed, picked myself up and eventually succeeded at many things, but in the end only became burned out on career choices, on friends that weren't good for me, on living in the past, etc.  Six months ago when I started really thinking about how my twenties were about to end, I got....excited!  I am more than anything looking forward to this amazing new chapter in my life where I have the maturity, the grace and the fearlessness I didn't have in my twenties.  I know what I want and somehow have learned how I can get it.  I'm determined more than ever to bring my goals and dreams to fruition.

Most of all, I am in a state of grace.  It has taken me a long time to be able to honestly say I have a beautiful circle of friends.  I think that was one of the hardest things for me growing up as I've mentioned before.  When all of my friends gathered together for my birthday this past weekend I looked around and realized everyone who is important to me were all in one room.  Simply put, I went home that night feeling amazing.

Here's to good friends and a whole lotta laughing :)
