Matt and Anya have quickly become good friends of mine. We spend all day…every day at work together and quite frankly, it feels like summer camp (if you don’t know, I work at MGM Studios by day). Ever since I met them I knew I wanted to collaborate with them. They agreed and this of course got me so excited because I’m ALWAYS looking for new models. I jumped at the chance to create something magical for them.
A few Sundays ago we made it happen! What started out as a lazy Sunday (sleeping in, french toast and bacon, and the final soccer game of the World Cup), quickly became an afternoon of climbing trees, hopping rocks in a creek and running around in a meadow. As the hazy weather turned to sunshine, Anya and I drove to Santa Monica to meet Matt. After a quick dress up consultation (AKA Matt, put this shirt on with these pants and those shoes) we all jumped in the car and arrived to our destination - a beautiful canyon near the beach.
It was AWESOME! We had the best time and I couldn't have asked for better models than my beautiful friends. There are so many images that I love which is why it's taken me this long to post them. I had the hardest time deciding which ones to edit! However, I have to admit that I love all of the mess-ups as well. I can’t tell you how many times they have sat at my computer with me over the last couple of weeks and laughed out loud – very loud, at the ridiculous ones.
Anya and Matt, you’re the best and I love you. Thank you for helping me bring my kooky ideas to life :) So....what do you think?!
