I've been busy busy with all sorts of things lately. I'm in the process of polishing my new website (coming soon!), experimenting with my Holga, thrift store shopping for new photo projects, and shooting new stuff! One of the latest things I shot was an engagement session.
I met Mike a few months ago when I became part of the MGM family. He's this magical graphic design / html / website helper. He came to my rescue since I really needed to learn a few things. I soon learned that he was engaged so we put our magical abilities together and collaborated. He helped me with my website and I helped him with his engagement photos. I finally got to meet Stephanie a couple of weeks ago and I have to say...I lOVE her. They made me smile as we walked around West L.A. They described how they met and how they fell in love and how after six years of dating bliss they are now making it official.
It was so refreshing being around a young couple who is obviously in love but also mature and genuine and easy going. I mean, when I suggested photographing them at a cemetery (along with a few other places) they thought it was the coolest idea! That might not have gone well otherwise. So cheers to Mike and Stephanie and thanks for inviting me into your world for an afternoon. I had a great time!
Liz ... Looks like a great afternoon! Great pictures. Congrats to Mike and Stephanie!!!
