Chasing the Light

I think every photographer should always have a recent self portrait hanging around.  I realized that I hadn't taken a self portrait for quite some time so last weekend I finally did just that.

In front of my boyfriend's apartment building there is a meadow that I have been obsessed with since he moved in.  When the sun sets there, the light it is so beautiful and all I want to do is run around like a kid and take a nap in the flowers.  On this particular day I was trying my best to get the shot I wanted at just the right time.  I of course, got stuck in traffic on my way over to this magical meadow and was afraid I was going to loose the light!  However, I managed to snap a couple goodies.
