How random my life has become. A few months ago it was very structured, stable, comfortable and happy (I think - I thought?). Now it's full of surprises, inspiration, creative ideas and random drives to Mammoth. Don't get me wrong. My days are full of frustration and anxiety as well, but now somehow it's ok that I feel these feelings of stress. Before I felt stressed out because I didn't know if I was going in the right direction. These days I'm finding my path through art and what better direction is there?
Some people just know from the beginning who they are and where they are going. A perfect example is my friend Quang. I've known Quang for a long while now and I have seen him evolve into an amazing photographer. Each time I see him I feel farther and farther away from the photographer I want to be. BUT, I also feel more encouraged and driven to get where I want to be. Luckily, every once in a while he invites me to share in his genius. Recently, he asked me to assist him in a shoot in Mammoth Mountain. I said yes and away we went. As we were on our way home I realized I hadn't taken a single photo. So, we stopped on the side of the road and I snapped a photo of my great friend. Thanks Quang for taking me along for an adventure (like old days).
